Clever adaptation and major extension of an existing bungalow within Green Belt on Leigh Road, Worsley.
The design solution provides a large volume increase to the existing house. As the site is located in Green Belt, the design process required a carefully considered and strategic planning approach to be undertaken.
The scheme involved the retention of the ground floor of the existing bungalow, removal of the existing pitched roof, and construction of new side and first floor extensions. This, combined with extensive re-cladding and re-fenestration of the retained facades served to completely transform the look and feel of the house.
The scheme received planning early 2015 and was completed 2017.
