0143 Hawkshaw Hall
Alterations and extension of imposing, stone historic farmhouse building situated in North Lancashire.
The design proposals included rationalising the existing convoluted layout of the house, and the construction of a series of new extensions to provide a luxury family home.
The scheme was carefully considered in order to minimise the ‘degree of harm’ caused to the Green Belt plot. Taking their cue from the existing traditional building form and materials, the new extensions are distinctly contemporary in appearance.
The project was granted planning permission November 2012, and works completed on site in August 2016.
